From our beginnings as a computer company started in a college dorm room to our role today as a provider of Point-of-Sale systems, Business IT Services, computer sales, repair, networking, and technology solutions, our mission has remained the same: provide the right technology, personal service, and lasting value.
Run PC History
Run PC was founded in 1987 by Jon J. Willig while he was attending the University of Northern Colorado. The company started in a dorm room, selling and servicing computer systems before Run PC even had a retail storefront. Jon personally delivered and installed the computers he sold. That’s where the name Run PC came from. Run PC was literally “the computer store that runs to you.” As the company grew, Run PC expanded into full-service retail locations offering computer sales, consulting, networking, repair, and business technology services.
Over the years, technology has changed dramatically—from early personal computers and floppy disks to today’s cloud-connected, cybersecurity-focused business environments Run PC has changed with it. Today, nearly four decades after the company was founded, Run PC continues to be locally owned and operated, providing technology solutions to businesses and individuals throughout Northern Colorado and the surrounding region. Our technology has changed. Our commitment to personal service hasn’t.

TEAM IT
Run PC has fostered long lasting relationships with our small business clientele, Providing complete turnkey technology solutions in the Dental, Medical, Legal, Retail, Hospitality, and service industries. Many of the same clients who turned to us for computer technology in 1987 are still relying on our products and services three decades later. Because demand for our business to business services has grown, Run PC added a new division of our company called TEAM IT. TEAM IT was created to better provide for the needs of our small business clientele. In an effort to help avoid downtime and resolve issues before they become major problems, Team IT offers low cost managed service solutions among a plethora of other business related services.
